Toronto, ON – GS1 Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to its Strategic Governance Board (SGB). The appointments include: Ronnie Miller, President & Chief Executive Officer, Hoffmann-La Roche Limited; Javier San Juan, President & Chief Executive Officer, L’Oreal Canada Inc.; Calvin McDonald, Executive Vice President Marketing, Customer Relationship Management and Loblaw Brands, Loblaw Companies Limited; and Andrew Ellis, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and Logistics, Walmart Canada. Their addition to the SGB is a part of GS1 Canada’s ongoing governance to ensure industry and association representation on the board. Their invaluable relationships and leadership within their respective associations such as the Retail Council of Canada (RCC), the Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors (CCGD), Rx&D, Canada's Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies, and the Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association (CCTFA), will provide the ongoing linkage between all trading partners. These Canadian leaders will support the SGB’S primary role of directing the overall financial and strategic direction of GS1 Canada.
