In response to valuable subscriber feedback, we are pleased to announce new enhancements that will make myGS1 easier to use, easier to navigate and easier to see what your trading partners are looking for. The new myGS1 experience begins December 18, 2017.

Improved Capabilities and Enhanced Functionality in myGS1

Simplified Single Sign-on. Single sign-on capability with integrated, secure and quick access to tools and services, all in one place. Log in once to access:

  • myGS1
  • ProSYNC
  • ECCnet Registry
  • The Vault

More tools and services will be added to this list throughout 2018.

Visibility To Major Trading Partner Requirements. See which GS1 Canada solutions and content major Canadian trading partners require to fuel their business processes.

Streamlined Billing. To make it easier to manage invoices, current account standing and pending invoices are now clearly visible to subscription administers, who can continue to see their invoice history and pay invoices online.

Simplified Account Management. Experience improved functionality, including the ability to quickly and easily change or update your password and personal account information.

Enhanced Security. User-set security questions add an additional layer of security.

Improved Subscription, Company and User Profile Management. Company administrators can quickly add new users, manage existing users and associated permissions, and update company contact information within myGS1. Elements of user management from ProSYNC (such as adding users, designating Item Certification Administrators and editing basic company information) are moving from ProSYNC to myGS1. You will be redirected to myGS1 when making any such updates.


GS1 Canada is committed to continually improving our subscriber experience while delivering to industry needs. More improvements will be rolling out across 2018 and into the future.

Getting Ready for the New myGS1

Starting December, you will no longer need user names or Company IDs to log in to myGS1. All you will need is a unique business email address and password set up in The Vault or ProSYNC.

The first time you log in to the new myGS1 launches, you will be asked to add a security question and answer for additional security.

To facilitate login once the new myGS1 launches, make sure you have an individualized email address and password in ProSYNC or The Vault. Contact your internal ECCnet administrator if you do not have access to your user profile or contact GS1 Canada at 1.800.567.7084 or info@gs1ca.org for help.
