Accredited Standards Committee X12 (ASC X12) : Agréé par l'American National Standards Institute, ASC X12 développe des normes d’échange en commerce électronique avec le format d’échange de données informatisé (EDI) X12 et le format XML qui interagissent avec d’autres technologies de commerce électronique. GS1 Canada est membre de l’ASC X12 et fait office de vice-président d’un comité de chaîne d’approvisionnement, facilitant les changements de normes EDI au Canada et aux États-Unis. |

Can-Trace : Initiative de collaboration pour le développement de normes volontaires de traçabilité pour les produits alimentaires cultivés, produits et vendus au Canada. GS1 Canada assure le secrétariat de Can-Trace. |

Data Interchange Standards Association (DISA) : DISA développe des normes interindustrielles d’échange d’information en commerce électronique, assure le secrétariat de X12, aide au développement des normes nord-américaines EDI et XML, et fournit un support technique et administratif pour les organisations de développement du commerce électronique, des normes et des spécifications XML. GS1 Canada est membre de DISA et est le représentant de liaison du Canada et des États-Unis auprès de GSMP XRG relativement aux X12, représentant ainsi les normes EDI nord-américaines. |

Global Commerce Initiative (GCI): GCI is a global user group that provides feedback to standards-setting bodies on the real-world implications of standards. GS1 Canada represents Canadian business interests at GCI, ensuring that global standards are relevant and beneficial to our members. |

Global Standards Management Process (GSMP): GSMP is the “engine” that powers the EAN.UCC System. It is a customer-driven process that enables customer involvement in the management of the EAN.UCC System, in which any company can submit a request to improve their supply chain efficiency. GS1 Canada facilitates and represents Canadian submissions to GSMP. |

OnTrace Agri-food Traceability (OnTrace): is a not-for-profit corporation created to build and implement a traceability framework for the agriculture and agri-food sectors in Ontario, as well as co-ordinating with other national, provincial, and commodity initiatives. OnTrace’s goals are to deliver traceability solutions that will enable the agriculture and agri-food industry in Ontario to become more innovative and competitive, and to strengthen the capacity of industry and government to manage and respond to emergencies related to agriculture and food. Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standards Association (VICS): VICS establishes cross-industry standards that simplify the flow of products and information in the general merchandise retail industry. GS1 Canada represents Canadian organizations on standards development, covering the areas of floor-ready merchandise, direct-to-consumer retailing, logistics, online retailing, collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment, and collaborative commerce. |

VICS Item-Level RFID Initiative (VILRI): VILRI is an inter-industry group of the United States' leading retailers, suppliers, industry associations, academia and solution providers, dedicated to quantifying the benefits of item-level RFID, and to exploring how the technology can improve business processes along the retail value chain. The organization, which exists under the VICS umbrella, is not-for-profit, and is led by companies that will be end users of the technology, with the support of leading providers of radio frequency identification. |
