• Company Prefix Licencing — With a valid GS1 Company Prefix Licence, Canadian businesses of all sizes can create industry-compliant bar codes, enabling their products to be traded in Canada and around the world. GS1 Canada is the only authorized source for globally-unique GS1 Company Prefix Licences in Canada.

• GS1 Canada GDSN - GS1 Canada GDSN data pool service serves organizations requiring synchronization of product data within the GS1 Global Data Synchronization Network.

• ECCnet Registry – ECCnet Registry is Canada’s national product registry.  This product information catalogue service offers a single point of access between trading partners for exchanging accurate, perpetually-cleansed product information based on global standards.

  • Item Centre — Item Centre enables trading partners to realize immediate, measurable benefits to the new item listing process. Providing a single source of truth for product listing information, Item Centre improves data accuracy and synchronization. With Item Centre, all trading partners can list and access correct, complete product information electronically – enhancing supply chain efficiency and product safety.

  • ECCnet ProSYNC ®: data loading options that are unique to GS1 Canada and assist vendors with loading product data into ECCnet Registry and other related applications.

• ECCnet Image & Validation — ECCnet I&V is a central source for product images and dimension information that your company needs to maximize the selling potential of your products and improve the efficiency of your supply chain. ECCnet I&V includes images and dimensions for planogramming, high resolution marketing images, images for Foodservice Product Information Cards, and a bar code scan verification service to assure trading partners that your products’ bar code symbols meet global scanning standards.

• ECCnet Sustainability Services - ECCnet Sustainability Services include tools and processes that enable the identification, capture and standardization of product packaging data in alignment with trading partner reporting requirements.

• GS1 Canada Product Recall - An online communication tool that enables the sharing of real-time, standards-based product recall and withdrawal notifications between trading partners, helping to ensure the removal of potentially harmful products from store shelves quickly and thoroughly.

• ECCnet Locations - A central, online, searchable database of accurate party & location information -- including Global Location Numbers (GLNs) and GLN-related details (e.g. street address, city/town, province, postal code, etc.) – for Ship To and Bill To locations to support trading partner transactions.
