GS1 Canada is happy to announce that the winner of the second annual Innovator’s Award is Vince’s Market with their digital marketing evolution application.
Vince’s Market’s win came on the basis of a multi-platform engagement plan they developed across social media and omni-channel strategies. This included such things as an eCommerce platform to provide their customers with an easy alternative for ordering platters, cakes and baskets.
Their innovation began after an analysis on how they could improve their market reach with limited resources available. Vince’s Market realized that reaching out digitally could greatly improve their exposure to both returning and potential customers.
Based on this information, Vince’s Market decided to undertake four major tactics in their digital undertaking:
Vince’s Market identified that enabling online ordering saved on valuable resources such as time and supplies and decreased human error.
The corresponding social media component also allowed employees at store level to communicate time-sensitive information such as sales and promotions.
Vince’s Market met the evolving needs of their customers and provided new and accessible avenues for them to engage. This paid off and has translated into a 13% growth in year-over-year sales.
